Hotel Policies

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check-In time is between the hours of 2pm and 6pm.

*** If you are planning to join us after 6pm, please contact our team to make arrangements for our afterhours arrival procedure. 

Check-Out time is any time before 11am.


RESERVATION CANCELLATION 

To avoid charges, cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled arrival time of 3pm, local hotel time. If cancellations occur within 7 days of arrival, the total room charge (including tax) will apply unless our guest services team successfully rebooks the accommodation with another guest. Reservations canceled more than 7 days in advance will incur a processing fee of $25 per night of the original reservation.

Note: The Hanford House, being a small hotel, must adhere to this policy without exceptions, even in cases of acts of nature, sickness, or other disruptions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.


GENERAL POLICIES 

Credit card required at check-in. You must be 21 years of age to book a room at the Hanford House. Please note that rates and availability are subject to change and vary by season and day. We reserve the right to change rates and amenities without notice. All rates are double occupancy and are not guaranteed until the time of reservation. We reserve the right to enter a guest room at any time without notice if we believe that property is being damaged or that illegal activities are taking place.


PET POLICY: 

Furry friends are welcome at the Hanford House in the Bungalow and specific cottages for an additional $75 per stay (max 4 nights).  Aggressive breeds, dispositions, or exotic animals are not allowed. This fee is an additional charge. Hanford House has designated certain rooms that are pet friendly, not all rooms are pet friendly. Please confirm with the front desk before making reservations (concierge@hanfordhouse.com). 

DEPOSIT & PAYMENTS: 

Reservations orequire a 50% deposit charged to your provided Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card. The remaining balance is due at check-in, charged to the card on file unless other arrangements are made. Reservations for 1 night will be charged the full amount at the time of booking. 

To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all guests, smoking, incense, vaping or candle burning is prohibited in rooms and on Hanford House Inn grounds. Violations incur a minimum $200 fee for room restoration.

Guests are financially responsible for any damages, stolen items, or breakage during their stay. Special clean-up charges due to guest-caused damages will be applied to the credit card, as deemed necessary by hotel management post-departure.


WEDDINGS/EVENTS: 

In adherence to our policies, kindly note that pre-wedding/post-wedding bridal preparations, including hair and makeup, as well as bachelor/bachelorette parties and gatherings exceeding four individuals, are not permitted in the rooms. ACCESSIBILITY: 

The Hanford House provides Accessible rooms in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Should you require assistance in choosing an accessible room, please reach out to our staff at concierge@hanfordhouse.com.

PAYMENT: 

A Credit Card is required as a guarantee upon booking. We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. You will be charged your daily room rate, plus applicable taxes and any add-on package or room service charges, on your day of departure.

DAMAGES:

You will be charged for any damages to your room, including, but not limited to, broken or stained furniture or equipment; missing items; or loss of revenue due to smoking.


MINIMUM STAY

The Hanford House does have minimum stay requirements during peak times. Please contact at concierge@hanfordhousel.com with any questions about minimum stay periods.

SMOKING 

The Hanford House is a non-smoking property. Any violation of this policy will result in cleaning fees equal to a minimum of one night’s stay.

QUIET HOURS: 

General courtesy should be exercised at all times so that noise does not negatively impact the experience of another guest. Please maintain quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am.
